Set the rules for new bookings

Online booking availability combines business hours, service duration, employee schedules, existing appointments, and your online booking settings. Change the customer-facing settings in Settings under Online booking.

  1. 1.Set the booking grid to 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes.
  2. 2.Set the salon business hours for each day, including split shifts where needed.
  3. 3.Use a booking cutoff to prevent bookings too close to the next booking day.
  4. 4.Add a buffer when preparation or clean-up time is required.

Choose which times customers see

Base visibility ranges let you expose only selected parts of your business hours. With progressive availability enabled, BookSI can also reveal times close to existing appointments to reduce gaps. Hard hours are a final start-time limit: a service may finish after the hard-hours end, but it cannot start outside that range.

Plan for exceptions

Use holiday closures for dates when the whole salon is closed. Use employee time off, schedule overrides, and blocks for individual absences, unusual working days, meetings, or breaks. Review available times after public holidays, schedule changes, or staffing changes.
